Sitting at LZ Washington...I'm here at the LZ by the U.S. Embassy, LZ Washington. Gonna catch a helicopter to BIAP, and who knows what happens from there. I think I have to check in there and see when they can get me on a plan to Kuwait. It would be nice if I could get a flight soon and just kill time in Kuwait, but I have a feeling I'm going to sit around BIAP for several days waiting for a plane.

Like we all know what a LZ Washington and a BIOP are ;-) I am guessing it is still in Iraq somewhere. Hope you have a safe trip ... are there other GI's from your unit with you??
